Non-Resident Firefighter Programs

Non-Resident Firefighters

Not everyone can live at the station, and you don't have to in order to serve. Non-resident firefighters live in the community and respond from home or work, and they provide the weekday staffing our district depends on. If you want to serve your community while keeping your own home, this is the path for you.

How it Works

How it works

Non-resident firefighters cover weekday daytime staffing at Sourdough Station and respond to emergency calls from wherever they are in the district. Combined with resident firefighters covering nights and weekends, this gives our community fast emergency response around the clock.
