Hyalite Rural Fire District exists to provide high quality and high value Fire, Rescue, and Emergency Medical Services, and general assistance to our customers while nurturing a dedicated, honest, compassionate, and self-disciplined team of responders.
The Hyalite Rural Fire District (HRFD) exists under Montana MCA Title 7, Chapter 33, Part 21. HRFD is governed by an elected board of trustees serving three-year terms.
Annually HRFD responds to on average 750 calls for service. With a combination team of dedicated responders the Hyalite Rural Fire District protects lives and property in the southern Gallatin Valley.
